When I was looking at martial arts schools for Blake, I noticed many young kids that had black belts. I had him try a few classes and really didn’t get a good vibe. Many of the schools wanted like a five year agreement and they would be black belts after the five years. When we went to the jiujitsu school we liked the easy going style and Blake really enjoyed the trial. After only a month we knew we had made the right decision and he started learning things at such a young age that would be very valuable for self defense, as well as self confidence. And after all said and done six years later he has stayed with it and that is something you don’t finds in young kids.
