Crispim BJJ is proud to have Daniel Elias as an Instructor. Daniel teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing and the Fitness Program. He comes to us with many years of experience, knowledge and an incredibly high level of dedication for teaching.
Daniel began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu approximately six years ago. He began at the Ralph Gracie academy where he started his training with Alexander Crispim and has continued to train with Crispim over the years. Daniel currently has the rank of Brown Belt. He is a very skilled Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, as well as a superior instructor.
Daniel also has trained and taught boxing classes for many years. Daniel focuses on helping his students master the skills of proper footwork, correct punching and effective defense. In addition to teaching these skills, Daniel’s class also provides for a high-intensity cardio workout with emphasis on overall conditioning. The boxing program will help to improve your agility, speed, coordination, reflexes and develop muscle tone.
When Daniel is not at Crispim BJJ in Pleasanton, he is teaching at Genentech’s Fitness Center with mentor J. Janero, the Fitness Director for Genentech. Daniel teaches the group fitness and cardio classes in their state-of-the-art facility. He is also constantly studying and learning new ways to improve his fitness program at Crispim BJJ through the vast amount of resources and training that Genentech and J. Janero provide to him. Daniel’s focus on fitness and a healthy lifestyle is a huge asset to every one of his students.
Daniel is a truly dedicated instructor whose focus and main goal is to help people reach their full potential in fitness and also to help them improve their lives through healthy living. Daniel is also very aware of each individual students needs and caters his workouts, be it Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing or Fitness, to the level and ability of his students while always encouraging and challenging them to push a little more. He brings a positive energy to his classes and his students walk away wanting to return. Daniel is a true asset to Crispim BJJ and we encourage you to experience one of his classes.
Besides working in the martial arts and fitness, Daniel also lives his life practicing what he teaches. Not only does he train daily, but he focuses his own life on healthy living and taking care of his body and mind.
