Crispim BJJ is the finest academy in the Bay Area. The BJJ program covers the fundamentals in a comprehensive manner and everyone is supportive of each other. The facility is kept spotless and the mats are the highest quality available. My son takes the kids classes and Crispim has an amazing way with the children.?

While some instructors show the "move of the day" have you practice it 5 times each side then you train and go home. Crispim constantly changes his lesson plan to fit the needs of the students in class at that time. He is not happy unless he feels he made you better. I also love the relaxed attitude of the Academy. Students have different reasons for training (ie to be a pro fighter or to loose weight) they are all treated with the same amount of respect. Other than BJJ they also offer wrestling for mma and conditioning classes. BJJ classes are offered every day of the week here while other places don't. When my children are of age I will have then enroll at Crispim/Barra Brothers Jiu Jitsu as well.?

Alexander Crispim of Crispim Bjj Barra Brothers is the best! While preparing for a world class fight at Strikeforce in San Jose on December 19th, he finds time to train a regular guy like me. His dedication and love for his sport translates into my world of helping more and more sick people get well! While the others party, we train... soon it will be our turn to play!

Crispim/Barra Bros brazilian jiu jitsu is the best bjj school in the Bay Area. Crispim in always looking to help his students to practice traditional, correct, brazilian jiu jitsu, and cares deeply about their success and advancement of learning the art of jiu jitsu. There is a wide selection of programs for kids, adults, and PRO fighters. There are classes set up for beginners and advanced jiu jitsu, boxing, and more. They also have a great fitness program set up, nice mirrors all around, and there are 2 FULL stone showers in the men's and women's bathrooms for after workouts.

Everyone was super nice and helpful to me when I came to Crispim BJJ. The guy is passionate about teaching jiu jitsu and it shows in his students. All friendly people! Plenty of mat space...it may have more mat space then any other school in the area, at least the ones I’ve been to. .?

I have trained with Crispim for 5 years now and it is amazing that every day, I still learn more. He is an incredible instructor and really focuses on improving all of his students. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Kids class was great.... They each have their own personality. The academy is such an amazing place and is growing so quickly! It is better than I ever could have imagined! New faces, old training partners and incredible energy!

Crispim Bjj Barra Brothers is my source for the training I use to prepare myself to give consistent adjustments all day long. Strong core, endurance and hand speed. After the guys go home, guess who stays and trains? We don't ask our students to do anything we don't do ourselves. TRAIN HARD! People's lives are at stake!
